Spinning cat illusion
As with most illusions of this type, it's not a question of what it wants to eat or if it's spinning, but rather which way is it spinning?
The answer is both.
And if you don't blow a synapse in the process, it is possible to actually get the kitty to switch direction (in your mind) with each rotation. Probably the closest you'll ever get to actually controlling a cat.

First time I looked at it I could only make it go counter-clockwise, no matter what I tried. Today when I looked at it, it was still going that way, tilted my head a little and it went the other way.
Just did an interessting test at the office. We were 4 people staring at the immage at the same time. Some saw it go clockwise, some counter-clockwise. A couple of the ladies here starting tilting their head to the oposite side of the immage of where the feet were facing when they reached the left or right side, and were able to get the cat to switch rotation before a complete turn was reached, making the cat "dance" from left to right.
I can only see the cat turn counter-clockwise.
I only ever see these things going counter-clockwise. I am aware of them from my psych classes, but I don't think I've ever been successful in "flipping" it in my mind.
You must be seeing it from "above". Have you tried staring at it while imagining you're looking at it from slightly below?
