It's a very Mer-Rye Christmas
it was my favorite time of year...
So I am not exactly sure what happened this Christmas. I know I was low on rye going in - only half a 60 oz of Forty Creek left. I came out of Christmas with a rich bounty of rye – all sorts of rye.
- 40 oz of Forty Creek (with two embossed glasses)
- 40 oz of Canadian Club(with four! embossed glasses)
- 60 oz of Crown Royal
This is good on so many levels. Now I can no longer be accused of always drinking the same thing. With such a spectrum of ryes available I can have a different drink every night! And I probably will.
Last night was Forty Creek. Tonight I am thinking… Crown Royal. Hard to believe people always accuse me of drinking the same thing! That's just crazy talk. I am nothing but adventurous – always trying different things!
In fact, I think I am going to give up mixing my rye with coke. I know!
I think it's time to mix my rye with...
Wait for it.
More rye! Yes! Genius I know.
Although I am not sure if the space/time continuum is ready for mixing three brands of Rye together. I wonder if this is anything like mixing matter and anti-matter together?
Will there be a cosmic implosion? A small bang, so to speak? Will I accidentally creating a micro-universe inside my liquor cabinet?
Cause that would be totally awesome! Don't worry, though - with great power comes great responsibility - I will be a benevolent supreme being.
Mostly.
Under my rule my micro-universe will only have one command:
I will command them to make more rye!
Otherwise, why even keep them around?

I just gave it to you to use as toilet bowl cleaner.
Cheaper than Drano!
...that bought me Forty Creek.
And I still like Crown Royal.
Forty Creek for Blackwalt, Crown Royal for the toilet.
Well, same thing technically.
For years it was all he would drink. As he got older he got more adventurous. And the 60oz was supposed to be his birthday present. I hadn't seen him in awhile ...
For the adventurous part.
I can testify that I have already seen you drink all three of these rye's.
Also the bottle at the cottage that never goes empty I am pretty sure is some concoction of various almost empty bottles of rye over the years. I know we've been down to drinking that.
ps Do any of those have a cork?
