Cats in the news

Okay, not cats, just cat. It seems that the U.S. has lost all faith in their judicial system with humans as jurors, that they are now calling in felines.

Would you put your life in the hands of a creature that has complete indifference to humans that are not directly responsible for their food?

Better yet, you could get a "Not Guilty" verdict by bringing in a few cat treats, or a miss-trial by letting a few mice out during the process.

I'm going to try putting my cats on the next census. When they get called for jury duty, I'll trick them into not going. Then when the cops show up to summon them, I'll say they're holding me hostage. This will result in a standoff, culminating in a shootout where both aged felines will likely suffer mortal wounds.

Voila! Free euthanasia.
