I agree pretty damn cool. Though they should probably reduce the size slightly, not that blind person could see what they look like. Maybe they would care.

They've had autonomous vehicles driving around in desert and urban landscapes for years. This is long overdue!
I like the use of ARToolkit markers. A compact system that just read those (and converted them to speech) would make a mint.
But combine this with GPS technology, and the possibilities are endless!
