You are here$300 for Dirt 3 special Edition?
$300 for Dirt 3 special Edition?
In fact, it's surprisingly reasonable, all things considered
Admittedly I am a bit of a sucker for a cool Special Edition Game add in. For proof please see my well decorated gaming area with my Gears of War Lancer, my Call of Duty Night Visions Goggles, my Call of Duty RC-XD and yes, even my bargain Halo 3 Master Chief helmet.
So, quite obviously, I am not against over the top, extravagant game add ins. Obviously.
However, when I heard about GameStop's Dirt 3 bundle for $300 USD I must admit that I was a tad shocked. $300! What the heck did it come with?
It included a remote control car. Cause that hasn't been done. $300 still seemed pretty high though – until more details were were released.
It turns out that the included car isn't a low end model but a high end professional RC car built by Traxxas.
This is a true remote control car and well worth the extra money if you are interested in a good electric remote control car. Which I am not. I already have one. By Team Associated I admit but I don't need a second (Team Associated is as well appreciated as Traxxes btw).
At least, I don't think I need another one. I have until May 25, Dirt 3's release date, to think about it.
PS- Moricerevek? It comes with waterproof electronics. No reason.

It was not my electronics my problem. It was all of the gunk that got into the motor that was the problem. Electronics? No problem!
If I drink copious amounts of alcohol, I understand Revek's comments!
You need to be drunk to understand English? What was there to not understand?
and go from there. Nothing unusual, I just realized it takes a few drinks to understand your sentence structure. It would have saved me years of aggravation if I'd figured this out beforehand.
Did not realize I had to dumb it down so much. Ok, try this:
The problem with my RC car after it was submerged in water, was not with the electronic components, it was the accumulation of gunk in the motor.
This of course addresses the fine print that Blackwalt put at the end of his post, which indicated that I had an issue with wet electronics.
To give you a bit of background, so that you can properly comprehend what was being alluded to, was when we were in the hobby of playing with RC cars, I had inadvertently sent my car into Q-Bert's ditch, which had 6 inches of water at the bottom. Of course my car stopped working after retrieval. I had to replace the motor for it to work again.
If you have further need of comprehending
Since you said motor, in the U.S., that means it is electrical. Everything else has an engine. Now this may not be true in Canada, but I suspect it is, which would then mean you did have an electrical problem.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
The motor is electrical. But Blackwalt said electronic, not electric. The electronics of my car were still fine, the electrical motor was not.
If only I had one of those "turn back time" magical-dagger thingies. I'd still remember this thread but at least I'd get part of my life back.
There's a tomatoe in my tomato.
