It's not that I hate Microsoft.

Just their Xbox 360 support team. Yes, all of them.

You all know about my continuing and varied problems with MS Xbox 360 Tech Support. Just take a look at HoC node 46 , HoC node 103 (my favourite), HoC node 138 , HoC node 145 , HoC node 235 (kind of), HoC node 339 , HoC node 412 or the slightly misconstrued HoC node 224 which could have been their fault. It could have!!

Why the hell do I still have one, okay, two. Be technical about it.

They now offer a contact through email option.

I used it today.

As you know I bought an Xbox 360 Elite back in August 2007. Yet I still use my original 20 GB hard drive. Have I done nothing about it? Well I haven't exactly been persistent but I did, as stated in my email:

1. faxed in the request (August 2007),
2. called on October 18th, 2007 (Ticket # 104...27),
3. called on December 4th, 2007 (Ticket # 105...17) and this time was promised one in 3-5 business days.

Yet, I STILL DON"T HAVE ONE!!!

Seriously, this is ridiculous. How many times do I have to phone, fax (actually Stormblade faxed it for me), email (okay, first time emailing) for a migration kit.

My 120 GB HD has been sitting there for 5 months now and I would like to use it. I am pretty sure I have read many posting and articles from Microsoft about how they are serious about supporting the Xbox 360. Apparently, this just applies to everyone else!

(oh, and Ice, I am going to need my Xbox 360 Memory Unit (card) back so I can save RollyC's profile and his Burnout Revenge save slot from the 120 GB hard drive if I ever manage to erase it....)

Microsoft Xbox 360 support, please just send me a "Xbox 360 Elite Data Migration Kit." Its a simple request really. Each and every time....

Please, please, please.

Hopefully this email option will provide me with a electronic paper trail that may prove useful in some way. Unlike the trail provided by my previous ticket numbers. It also had the added benefit of not keeping me on the phone for over 45 minutes. Each time.
