Cowboys and Aliens...
I would have been a much more enjoyable experience to have a sawed off shotgun shoved down my throat and another shoved up my rectum and have them fired at the same time so my body splits in two and have my entrails leak all over the floor.

Q-Bert and me saw it last week, and both I and him enjoyed it quite good.
(Anybody here stormblade's head explode yet?)
I especially loved the part when the fearless hero jumps on top of this machine that is probably flying at 1000 km/hr and his hat didn't fly off. Oh wait! not only that he seems to be free falling afterwards and his hat still didn't flt off. Though he did lose it when he landed in the water.
Also, super advanced aliens *lasooing* humans.... I could go on...
One interesting thing though the aliens resembled an awful lot like the one from Super 8.... oh wait Spielberg... I forgot...
Are you complaining that a science fiction movie has unrealistic physics? Seriously? And they were not flying at 1000 km/h, they were doing under 150. The horse kept pace with it, and a horse runs somewhere around 60km I think.
Thanks to Mythbusters, we know that it is impossible for any person to hang on, much less jump onto, a moving vehicle that is doing anything above 50 km/h. So every single action movie that features the hero jumping on a moving vehicle to save the day according to your review makes it pure garbage. It is nothing more than a plot vehicle. It's part of the fantasy.
Aliens lasooing humans? This is a Cowboy movie. Lasooing is a mandatory plot device. Same as when the Natives lassoad an alien in the big climactic batle.
