I have seen some demonstrations of Windows 8. I am pretty impressed with it.

About using the Cloud as storage. All of my save games stored there wouold make it much easier to move from x-box to x-box in the house without having to lug around the hard drive. Especially since my two x-boxes are of different generation.

But Microsoft has proved time and time again that they are more interested in protecting themselves than making your life easier. Even if your Xboxes are the same generation, moving your hard drive from one box to the other requires re-installing games from the disc even in the same house.

You think keeping your games on the internet will be any better?

You are not keeping your game on the internet, just the save games. The new X-Box is quiet enough that I have not had to install a game to it yet. Although I may just to see if it makes the game faster, but I have not noticed any dramatic slowdown with Fallout NV to try it yet.

Faster loading means the map loads quicker, and you can potentially spawn earlier. Although I don't think that's your biggest problem.
