But at $160 for 6 cubelets,I don't think I will be getting into that hobby. Just think of how many kits you would have to buy just to get to be able to do anything interesting.
That's $27 per cubelet. Plus tax, plus shipping. Cool idea, great educational toy, but they seriously need to take the manufacturing to China or someplace like that to reduce the costs dramatically, ideally under $10 per cubelet preferably under $5 per cubelet.
This is the start of a cool idea. But out of the "thousands of combinations" they claim are possible, it seems 99.9% of them are "thing that drives with something spinning on top". They didn't show me one compelling idea in the entire commercial. Now if they had cobbled together something that could navigate even a simple maze, that would be another story.
To be honest, I'm more intrigued by the Robot Lincoln on the hippie's desk.
