Thermaltake now offers an external Sata docking unit.
Just place the drive into the dock and you're running. It's just too cool, awesome to try to explain.
More info at the ThermalTake official site. Coxxorz will let us know how it works because he is ordering one as soon as he reads this...

Unfortunately. So it wouldn't be useful for swapping boot drives...
Or large fast data transfers.
I think I'll wait for the eSata version.
It is my informed opinion that USB is ASS. What's the point of this if it's not even bootable?
Also, WTF is eSata?
"External SATA"
It usually means the "External SATA" interface, so I don't understand why that word is being used here; it doesn't apply.
That said "sSata" originally. Someone fixed the original typo, then edited my post. I know what fucking eSata is. And yes, it does apply. I would buy this if it had either Firewire or eSata. USB is an evolutionary dead end, like Blu-Ray.
Now which admin would do that?
Considering that I do not have admin rights anymore....
That would leave just one person...
But your admin rights were re-instated two weeks ago!
... that you walked straight into this one...
I wonder what kind of thermal properties Plexiglass has? Also notice how they neatly ignore the exposed electronics on the back side of your drive. The inventors must not have kids... or cats.
I have to have one of these.
Why? 'cause I do, that's why!
