Day one!
Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City special edition open box
Although it's not really a box per se, it's a steel book case.
My first step was to light up my Raccoon City sign so that I would be able to easily find my gaming room office. Cause some days that's harder than others.
And finally, as promised, here are the contents of my pre-ordered Special Edition Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City Xbox 360 game.
And we have from left to right, top to bottom:
- Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City manual, French
- Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City manual, English
- pre-order bonus code
- cardboard wrapper for the steel book case
- Special Edition bonus code
- U.S.S. embroidered patch
- Steelbook case open with game disc
- U.S. Spec Ops embroidered patch
In a fit of redundant stupidity the Special Edition bonus code contains everything in the pre-order bonus code (as well as some additional stuff) making the EBgames pre-order totally pointless. Again.
I guess this means I have an extra to bequeath onto someone else.
Wait is bequeath when someone else dies? Or is it when I die? Maybe I'll just politely hand it to someone instead.
The game is now installed on my hard drive (4.5 GB) but I still haven't played it. Or even launched it.

We're not playing it yet and I have not opened mine.
And I am going to continue assuming it from the end of the first mission.
except I kinda played GOW3 a before we teamed up ... a little.

Do you not have yours yet?
Best Buy's site went down last night exactly when I was about to preorder. Now the preorder bonus is GONE, and they're out of stock online. Stupid gas guzzler.
