With apologies to Q-Bert who we made suffer through a 45 minute (plus) delay while Hardw00d figured out his firewall and then made play COD4.
Waking up this morning the first thing I thought of in conversation with Stormblade was "you know, we should have played Marvel Ultimate Alliance."
And we should have.
Sorry Q-Bert, we owe you a MUA night.
We should have ignored Hardw00d's LAN party and gone our own way and we didn't.
Next time buddy, next time.
and yes, we would have made you play as Spider-woman

You guys have the weirdest pillow talk...
We should have ignored Hardw00d's LAN party and gone our own way and we didn't.
Nah, sitting there for 45 minutes staring at a game lobby made me wax nostalgic about playing on the PC at my previous LAN parties.
Also, playing COD, I was reminded how the game is TOTALLY focused on higher level players; since they are given better weapons and upgrades. It's great fun to be cannon fodder when it takes 45 clips to bring down an adversary.
But I had a chance to piss off Stormblade at Burnout during the evening, so it's all good.
