Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 PC Gamers Surprised to Find Mass Effect 2 Instead
Today is the day. A vast number of gamers will be excitedly mashing buttons on controllers thanks to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 hitting shelves. Many keyboards may be suspiciously silent, however, thanks to a little problem with the PC version’s second disc. Unfortunately, it looks like some of these discs are actually copies of Mass Effect 2 instead. Oops.

Read that yesterday. It affected something like 1000 packages. In response to this, Bioware said that for the first 50 people contacting them with a picture of themselves and the bad disk, they would get a free copy of the ME Trilogy.
Way to satisfy 5% of your angry customers.
This brings up a good point...
Mass Effect is from Bioware which is a EA subsidiary?
And Black Ops is Activision/Treyarch?
How was this possible?
