well, if you're really interested...look up 3 things about black ops 2
1. Lag compensation
2. Bandwidth allocation
3. Matchmaking based on ping
I spent 3 hours researching last night. Today, I played while silumtaneous downloaded 4 tv shows on bittorrent.
I had 10000Kbps bandwidth (BO2 max) and 4 full bars. For 2 hours. No issues.
My issue really is playing with you guys. Now I know it for a fact =P I also know how to check my real connection. (bandwidth & lag) The bottom line is BO2, contrary to previous versions of COD, changed how it does matchmatching and how it applies lag compensation. So playing in parties with people far away is going to suck, no matter how you hook your xbox up.
I always suspected they did shit like that in Black Ops 2, possibly earlier CoDs as well. The question is how often during as match does it re-evaluate. Because I've seen lag issues come and go at least twice per game sometimes, as if someone flipped a switch.
I think the problem with partying up with us is how the server determines whose ping to go by. If there was some way for you to go into a match and us join you, it might help.
