Yes, it's a parody

“All About That Space” is a volunteer outreach video project created by the Pathways Interns of NASA's Johnson Space Center. It was created as a parody (to raise interest and excitement for Orion's first flight) of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass”. The lyrics and scenes in the video have been re-imagined in order to inform the public about the amazing work going on at NASA and the Johnson Space Center.

The old guys are the mentors. The rest of them are summer interns. I can say this as I there are actually a few "girls" who would be considered cute, even in Canada. They all, girls and boys, come there for the summer so when they go to get a real job in the private sector, which happens to pay more money, then they can point to this and some knucklehead in HR will say, "WOW, you must be very smart".

I know this from when I worked at Boring aka Boeing. We would get Computer Science majors in to intern for the summer. I always told them to never work at a big company like Boeing. Only a few ever came back, and they were pretty much useless. Those few were sent to work on the HR systems.
