I wanna Core!!!
Last night, around 8:45PM I realized just what I was truly missing in life. It hit me like a ton of bricks. All this time, my life had been empty. Now it was all clear. The missing piece was there in front of me.
I became obsessed, manic. I have to have one. An XBox 360 Core!! I couldn't believe I had gone that long without one. My desk was incomplete. My Premium was lonely. I needed a core. I hopped on eBay and went searching. Finally, I found one today I could afford. It will be here soon!! I can't wait!!
On a completely unrelated topic, I will be absent from Live for a little while, since my XBox 360 Premium suffered the Red Ring of Death somewhere around ... coincidentally... 8:45PM last night. The coffin is on it's way.

UPS screwed up my shipment (sigh). It has been rescheduled for delivery tomorrow (Thursday). Which means I miss another Sega Night (double sigh). Hopefully it will arrive early enough that I can pick it up before the apartment office closes. Not that it matters since Blackwalt has raped Grid already and COD4 is getting old (I can't believe I said that!).
I think Blackwalt played all by himself last night.
And I'm DEFINITELY available tonight. Early, even.

You should get Bad Company. The online maps are huge, and you should love the playing style of many of the others. They don't think much, just run and gun. Hardly anyone talks, so far I haven't heard a squeaker at all. Everything can be blown up and you get to drive tanks and helicopters as well as shoot things.
They're all in CoD4 still. And now in Grid (to a lesser extent).
Maybe they're finally enforcing the ESRB M-rating in stores?
Which of course means it won't be here by the weekend ...

I wish one of my Xboxes would die, so I can get my cut of the $300 Million MS has reserved for warranty claims. If only the failure rate wasn't at such a "low industry standard rate" of 16.4%...
