Xbox Live 12+1 months for $30!!!

By Coxxorz - Posted on 11 January 2009

HA ha! April Fools, Blackwalt!

Just kidding. It really is only $29.99. But the catch is you have to drive a few hours to get it. That's right, my first deal post for our friends south of the border: Wal-Mart U.S. is selling the Xbox Live 13 month Gold card for just $29.99.

Now if only we knew someone down there who was willing to take an order of half a dozen and ship them to us...

Not sold online and there are no stores within 100 miles of Boulder that carry it. Check with Troll, maybe they have it in Cali.

and they said there was nothing within 100 miles of my location. Interesting marketing strategy as So Cal is so heavily populated.

Let me know how many to get and we can work out something I am sure.

Do you take PayPal?

A Troll's picture

If you guys are serious, we can figure out a way.

Coxxorz's picture

But I don't know if anyone else is. If you're interested, I think I can find a link that gets you $5 for signing up with Paypal, but maybe I can just do a Bank email transfer.

I will go down tomorrow and see what I can round up. If I can get three of them for you I will.

Some Wall Mart gift certificates. Maybe they wont get stolen in the mail.

But if Walmart.com says there are none in the stores, there are none in the stores. I've found them to be pretty reliable with there inventory tracking.

A Troll's picture

as the few times I have gone into one no one there had a clue as to what was going on.

You CANNOT believe what they say on the phone or even in person at Wal-Mart. I've talked to people who swore they didn't have something in stock, only to turn the corner and see it. Same goes for Zellers and any other minimum-wage paying retail giant.

Stormblade's picture

Go to Walmart.com and check store availability from the comfort for your own home.

Not that I have any problem having you traipse around Walmarts if you're into that kind of thing.

Coxxorz's picture

If it's anything like up here, the online availability info is WAY out of date. Troll is right, the only way to know for sure is to go brave the welfare crowd in person to check.

I never go to Walmart and to go I will need a dictionary to speak gangster and Spanglish. I love Spanish, but Spanglish sucks.

I hate Yo-Yos too...

Coxxorz's picture

Maybe that's their wacky way of saying "Out of stock".

In PA on the week of the 19th. If that helps anyone.

my gift is becoming more worhtless by the day!

Coxxorz's picture

Did someone give you a 48-hour card for Christmas? Poor Swag...

Q-Bert's picture

If by "48-hours" you mean "3-month" and if by "give" you mean "forced him to purchase it on his credit card and sorta promise to pay him back", then yeah...

Coxxorz's picture

What kinda knob convinces someone to buy the least-cost effective option available?

Q-Bert's picture

... that has a wife.

Stormblade's picture

Yeah, don't mess with Pebbles.
