Nintendo Saved Christmas
Yeah, that's right.
It's been a while since I posted any good Nintendo news, hopefully I don't sound like too much of a hypocrite (I have a Nintendo DS too btw).
"Nintendo Wii and DS software unit and dollar sales will account for over 50 percent of all games sold in December," Divnich says. "Without these sales, the industry would have likely felt the full wrath of the recession."

See? People do buy games for the Wii. In fact Nintendo didn't just save Christmas, it saved the whole North American Economy, including all your jobs.

And Revek saved the Worldwide economy via his porn purchases.
That's weak sauce. If Nintendo didn't exist, the entertainment dollars would simply have been spent elsewhere. It's an elastic economy. If you want to feel the full wrath of the recession, scrap the auto industry bailouts and let them compete in a fair market.
And as for your closing statement, that's like saying "the US spent over 500 billion dollars on defense last year, therefore Osama Bin Laden saved Christmas."
The quote reads "this industry" which is implying the gaming industry. So if Nintendo didn't exist there is no telling if all that money would have gone into the gaming industry. Potentially ruining the Gaming Industry. Which would be due to the recession, because people only want to by the best and most essiential items for living. Of course the overall economy would have stayed the same, or close to.
Osama = Nintendo. Both are terrorists.
Nintendo has not been declared a terrorist organization; therefore, your weak attempt at using the transitivity rule of logic fails.
terrorist organization as the government works in a great deal of secrecy these days. Who knows, the Nintendo Board of Directors could be sitting in Gitmo right now.
I heard they're in there with Saddam right now.
You forgot Elvis.
