Tick Tick Tick Tick.......Where's it coming from??
Usually, I read/check HoC site for entertainment once a day. I open the browser tab and then minimize it afterward. A headphone is always plugged in to the PC since I am at work and volume is not too high.
This morning, I saw the new "Stormsday Clock" but I wasn't aware it also has SOUND effect too!
After lunch, I need to work on some boring document, so I decide to put on the headphone and listen to some music. At first, I didn't hear it since the music is louder. Then I detect the Tick sound. "Tick Tick Tick Tick....". I thought it is the media player app and spent 20 minutes on detective investigation.
Then, I stare at the task bar and notification area and think what's root cause of the tick sound. Mind you, HoC tab is not the active one in that specific IE. Finially, I click on each apps and come across the HoC tab. "Stormsday Clock" is staring back at me..............!
Sorry for all this ranting! End of story

Well, sort of. Unlike Stormblade, there is now a mute button.
Why don't you make it work with Firefox so I don't have to switch to a POS browser just to see it?
You switch from a POS browser that doesn't know how to display embedded Flash, and we'll call it even.
The internet is suppose to be ubiquitous for all browsers, even crappy ones.
Stop being a hack!
Everyone displaying embedded Flash has to use a hack– just for MSIE! So go talk to Bill Gates about following "standards".
Every site on the planet that uses Flash can make it work on real browers and IE.
Just sayin'
But they're using real websites, not this Drupal abomination.
It is just a different method and this is till no excuse, besides you can copy the script to handle both from about 1 million places.
As an added bonus, you should have it say something on every hour change. Something like, "I HATE all of you"
It's been said that I can be annoying at all times, and you have substantive proof!
