Ok, more like expanding on their idea, but still.
Otherwise I am somewhat skeptical of this peripheral. Was this a tech demo of some new AI or a demonstration of a motion sensing camera? Notice how they didn't show this demo live, but as a pre-recorded segment. How well this actually works in practice is something that I will have to wait and see before I get excited about it.
Wonder how much this will cost...
ok...did you watch the entire thing (first link) from the 88th minute?
Geez, with this sad and pathetic attitude, no wonder Egyptian girl dropped you :p
I actually saw another video, assumed that it was the same thing. But that video was even worse (it's a commercial) than the one that I saw.
Here is what I saw: http://kotaku.com/5274554/molyneuxs-milo-brings-a-virtual-child-to-the-x...
Maybe it can do all the things that it claims (well), but I'll hold off on passing judgment till later.
It's Microsoft. It takes at least 2 versions before it will meet minimum specs.
Now I have not seen any of the videos yet, but I am assuming that they were demoing driving and maybe some type of sports game. What I am curious about, is how they woudl implement this for a FPS type game. Will you have to hold your hand out at start 'shooting' at the TV?
Will we all now become Jedi Kids when Lucas Arts comes out with the full body motion sensing Star Wars game? Will it come with a golf ball retriever light saber?
Will there be a head banging achievement in RB3? Will they be able to cover the injuries lawsuits from the wrestling, boxing and MMA games that you know some people will go too far with.
Will the Porn industry make use of.... hmmm.... wait a minute.... this could have potential... Let me go lock myself in my basement while I evaluate this technology.
