Sega releasing "Rush Rush Rally Racing" this October
For DREAMCAST
Yes you read that right. More info at BitMob.
- The Dreamcast’s 10-year anniversary just got a little more exciting. Redspotgames, a publisher that thankfully didn’t get the memo about the system’s demise, has just announced a new game for the Sega Dreamcast.
That’s right; Rush Rush Rally Racing will be hitting Amazon and eBay’s virtual store shelves this October for the low price of $22. I can’t believe I’m actually typing these words in 2009, but you can pre-order this Dreamcast game now via the publisher’s website.

My friend don't use his Dreamcast too often, only once a while. I knew 2 other persons still have working unit (in storage). You may ask - Why they so attached to it? May be because it is their first console required little mods or no mod in order to play "backup" copy of their games.
Didn't it also have a built-in modem or something? Also, I seem to remember at least one game was cross-platform networkable to enable play against PC/Mac users (4x4 Evolution?)
Another example of superior technology being squashed by the predatory practices of big business.
Wonder if Best Buy still carries these?
