Hey! I have money! Cool!

Not to put too much of a point on it...
I told you guys that I have sold Virtual Machine templates for the past 3 years on an ecommerce site that I run (well, *used* to run; I had to shut it down in June because someone hacked it and I couldn't be bothered to fix it. That's what happens when you run old software...).

Well, on November each year, is when I split the loot with my business partner. My part is $1000+ ooooyeah.


I was a cool experiment: I took about 1 week 4 years ago to create about 17 different Virtual Machine templates (using Open Source distributions) for Citrix' Xen Server technology. I then opened a quick ecommerce site that only took Paypal, and made them available.

The first year it made me over $3K. It ramped down after that since I never bothered to actually make updated versions of the templates.

So, my problem is that I have $1K of paypal money to burn, and none of the Ottawa hardware websites will take Paypal. Booooo.

Had a chat with Blackwalt yesterday and he asks me why don't I purchase from NCIX.com ?

"They take paypal ??"

"Yes, they do."

Hell yeah.

Unfortunately, it's a 2-day wait for Paypal to confirm the payment to NCIX, and then 10 days shipping via Puro. I guess I won't have this sweet setup for the Lan Party next week :-( Also, I need to find a cheap HDMI+digitalaudio XBox cable before I can hook all of that up.

The RAM and HD are so that my Powerbook Pro gets some luvin' too since I won't be changing it up this year.
