It finally happened

Some of you may recall back in the early years of Xbox Live, when life was simple, and my Xbox live gamertag was just "Fuxxorz"...

Well back then Microsoft didn't take too kindly to my clever phonetic abstraction of an expletive, and a full five years later, forced me to change it. As was often the case then, I had been signing into Live to meet up with the guys to play some games when I was confronted with the stern BANNED message.

As you can imagine, this didn't sit very well with me as I was in a rush to play (that's about equivalent to the impulse to pee, for you female readers). So as a result, I may have chosen my replacement gamertag a bit more hastily than I should have, and in a moment of rage and spite, Coxxorz was born.

Now I've never been really fond of my new gamertag, so I immediately started compiling a list of suitable replacements in anticipation of the imminent return of the MS Banhammer.

That was 2 years ago.

Now this evening, on my way to play the most anticipated game in almost a year (imho), I'm confronted with a strangely familiar screen at login:

This can't be good.

But this time I was prepared.

No more angry scrambling to come up with something clever that would pass Big Brother's profanity filters. No more would I have to suffer the embarrassment of being asked what my "gaming name" was at family functions.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you:
