Heroes: Crossing The Line in the Sand
Ooops, I mean Heroes: The Line.
Could they have made it even more bloody obvious ?
So, the whole episode is about going evil. Claire, Maya, HRG, Takezo, even Niki for chrissakes. Oh, but the writers aren't stoooopid, they make sure to give the appearance of balance by making Bob "good" now. -sigh-
At least they are treating the Mohinder character with some respect. His choices makes sense even if the events in which he is involved in do not. Even his match up with Parkman make sense, as well as Mohider's attitude towards Parkman.
I guess I should thank the writers for doing a good job on Sylar because I really hate the SOB... and that's the point. But then again, Alejandro is coming out as a whiny little kid. If the writers are setting up a cage-match between Alejandro and Sylar, I ain't rooting for Alejandro...
Peter in Montreal... or rather Peter in front of a green screen. If you would have been in my living room, you would have heard "Excuse me!?? WTF?!?!" You don't bring a character to another venue (which they just built in a studio for shitsakes) just to teleport him back to New York. So, I am guessing that they did not teleport, and that they are in the presence of Candice or another illusionist. Either way, it's bad writing. They better have pre-written a lot of the Peter timeline across many seasons, or else I'm gonna be pissed. It really feels like they are just throwing him around for some reason.
You want to know what would be really cool ? Check out one of the paintings that HRG saw in this episode. What if Mohider was forced to kill Molly at the end of the season ? That would be good writing.
Here's another guess from the paintings: Peter will get his scar in the next 4 episodes and will end up in a specialized jail of some sort. (He gets his head partially shaved)

Freeze-framing your PVR is one thing, but peeking at other Heroes fansites on the web is against the rules!
As far as the paintings go, they stopped having any real relevance for me a while back. Besides not being able to tell who half the people are, when they do seem to portray serious events, more often than not they are dismissed or easily circumvented in some way (Peter dead on the steps, etc.).
Nikki being Mohinder's partner is interesting, Bob is going to have us guessing (even more) now, Hiro whatever, Peter whatever. I guess the next episode we're going back to Copycat and the Parkmans, but I'm more interested in the Sylar/Maya/Aljandro(?) arc. Will Sylar get his abilities back, or was he given the virus? Will he take Maya's ability, and have it absorbed by her brother? Does he have the power to reverse its effects? Interesting.
I'm just glad the Hiro-changing-history thing isn't affecting the current timeline instantly, a-la-Back-to-the-Future. The rest is starting to bore me.
Rules, you say .....
Interesting.
