Heroes: Cautionary Tales

No Sylar! Whooooo!

How to close to perfect can you get ? Man, what a change from 3 weeks ago. There's not much negative I can write about this week's episode, but I will give it my best..

Is it me, or do the writers take complete liberty with Elle's past ? She told Peter that she was basically a prisoner like him, never really being permitted to leave the Company building. As far as I could tell, going to Ireland was her first time alone out of the center. Now she is on the beach and enjoying life like she was totally normal. So, either she lied to Peter, or the writers are ignoring her past during character development.

I did not like how Hiro-boy changed Hiro-man's mind so fast. Seems it would take a bit more time for me to get used to the idea of killing my father; even if I *did* meet my snot-nosed self in the past.

I liked Walt's involvement in this episode. I think my main problem about Walt is that we never got to see his life through his eyes, like all the other characters. We only see his involvement via Claire, and because of that we never get to identify with him. Apart from wanting him dead, I mean.

The Bitch is back, and man did the actress impress me in this episode. For once, the character isn't one-dimensional.

So, they took Claire's blood and can now resuscitate people from death. Lovely. That's a whole season right there. We can only assume Adam's blood does the same. That would explain why they kept him under lock&key. He was the company's little cow. Milk him weekly or something. I imagine that there is a time-limit linked to this or else all previously dead agents would be alive today.

No Peter, no Sylar, no CopyCat, no Niki, no Nathan. Do the writers read this site ?
(If yes, then let's see Elle and Niki fight in the mud.... naked.)

Ok, I saw the actually episode I was suppose to see.

Firstly I must say, such HATE there was in this episode. It was a given that they would ressurect Noah. I would also like to add that no, people who get the healers blood would not become healers themselves, since the healer blood (being foreign) would slowly be replaced by their own blood.

No Sylar and the twins is good. Man I hate those twins, so annoying. Although I hate Sylar about ten times as much.

Here is the story, Adam is pretty much immortal if there remains but a single cell of him. Being a well educated person I have seen this happen before in Dragon Ball Z. Were Goku fought against Cell. Goku had charged up to super Sayain and blew Cell to bits with a Spirit Bomb, only to have him regenerate fully and unleash his full power. Now, what Goku did was hit him with the greatest Kamaya-maya attack ever seen and literally vaporized Cell; therefore, giving no chance for him to regenerate and come back to life. So, the only way Adam can die is either Peter goes nuclear again while holding onto Adam so that the body doesn't fly away OR that Elle does a Kamaya-maya attack that would take out a good chunk of the Earth. Those are my ideas.

Thirdly, I guess my prediction of West dying was off. I still hope he dies, that hasn't changed.

Elle is so awesome.

Hehehe, Peter is going to turn into a True Jedi Master soon. Here are the ablities he needs/has:
-Parkman's mind control (these are not the droids you are looking for)
-Elle's electric power (if Peter chooses the Dark side.)
-Telekenesis (force push and pull)
-Copy kat girl ( for all the acrobatic moves)
-Nathan's flying (for ... flying and super jumps)
-Claire's power (for force heal)
and of course he'll need to construct a lightsaber.

Oh, I almost forgot. I also vote yes to the Elle vs Niki naked mud wrestling.

ummm I just thought of something ... Since Niki has been shown to be able to create other personalities... do you think this also means she can produce different variations of powers with each personality? That would be neat. That could almost add another player in the Sylar vs. Peter war.

What are Mrs. Petrelli's powers anyway? Do we know?

I watched 8, and it was awfully similar to the last episode I saw ... perhaps I got the wrong episode ...?

"Cautionary Tales". You saw #8, which is "Four Months Ago". Stop reading NOW until you've seen it!

Elle is one of those characters they don't know what to do with now that the drugs have worn off, kind of like that useless back story of the twins. I suspect she was partly there to set up the swap with Claire, and her dad's predicted demise. Anybody catch the funny tan lines when she wore that open back number a couple episodes back? Locked up indeed.

Terrified West still makes me smile.

As for the twins and Sylar, I think they either also changed their mind where that was going, or they're waiting for the main arcs to settle down before bringing them back. Although the longer they leave him out, the more awkward the return. It's also conceivable that they really have nothing for him to do after fixing the rest of the story line, and are just stretching it out until something cool occurs to them. I recommend he meet up with West, because a flying Sylar would be AWESOME, and a great setup for another showdown with Peter.

Did you download it yet, Noir?

I actually liked Mrs. Petrelli, and you're right: this is the most acting I've seen her do so far. Unlike Bob, who played the exact same character in Deadwood, and really didn't sell me on being particularly distraught at the capture of his daughter. The bitch also confirmed my hypothesis that healers are essentially immortal. My only question is, do people who receive healer blood also become healers? But you're right about one thing, this opens up a huge can of worms regarding resuscitating previously-dead bad guys. Or good guys! Assuming Mr. Bennett actually returns from the dead.

Noir, stop reading.

Hiro's sudden about-face struck me as odd too, but who cares... all I wanted to know was who killed his dad. In retrospect, I really should have guessed it was Adam, but I had stopped caring about that story line until now. Revenge! Maybe now Hiro goes back in time to become a great swordsman and learns to speak perfect english in order to avenge his father...

I would add Claire to that dream wrestling match. Every time I see her perfect complexion in HD, I wanna rub dirt into her pores.
