They should have called this one "Cleanup".
Right up front, I liked this one.
That being said...
Maya should have stayed dead. There was *no* reason to carry her and her brother through all those episodes. Sylar could have shot Molly with the same plot advance. The twins are more a 5th wheel than ever.
We finally had something that resembled adequate writing with Peter's decision in front of the vault. Mind you, there was no reason for Adam to not kill Hiro when Peter knocked him out earlier.
Still see no reason for resurrecting HRG, and still see no reason to even show West anymore. I don't know where they are going with Elle, but unless they make her one hell of a central character in Volume 3, I will feel like my daughter could have written a better character progression than these guys.
I am not ready to bet that they will resurrect Nathan, and I am almost ready to bet that The Bitch killed him. If that is the case, depending on the explanation for it, I will applaud the writer for that one. What I would LOVE to see is Matt, Nathan, and Peter have actually been infected with a mutation of the virus. Peter used radiation to destroy the virus, and that might not have done the job and might have mutated the virus even more. Peter having the virus would make him be a lame duck in the next volume, and have the series focus much more on destroying Sylar by "ordinary" means. If they don't bring in even more characters into Volume 3 then that would leave room for Maya as the only person that could destroy Sylar. Elle would be killed at the very beginning of the next Volume, by Sylar, and so would Matt (powerless though).
With the shock of losing Elle, we would see Bob re-adjust the company's focus on getting rid of Sylar. The Bitch would help. We would finally see her power. Hiro would go forward in time to find Peter's GF.
Personally, I don't like how Hiro got rid of Adam. He will be able to get out of there. That has sequel written all over it, and I don't want Adam on my TV anymore.
Niki should remain dead, and have Micah go dark. Just for that, I would forgive him being completely out of the plot in Volume 2.
I don't know where they want to go with Claire in the next Volume, but they should shelve all of that "they should all know about us" plot for the next Volume.

There is a Powerless topic up allready. But if you want to start a new one thats fine.
Where to being. Well I can see tons upon tons of crying happening.
First and foremost, for some reason I liked how they put the Heroes symbol in the ashes of the destroyed virus before it was blown away. I shall now analysis each of the paragraphs in order from the above.
1) Maya should be dead, I agree and always will. Shotting Molly on the otherhand would have just been diabolic, something that sissy Sylar certainly is not.
2) Of course Adam is not going to kill Hiro when he was uncontious right beside Peter. First off Peter would have turned on Adam right then and there and I don't believe Adam could take on Peter at all. Secondly, it was already mentioned that Adam wanted to make the rest of Hiro's life a living hell. So why kill him when you can torment him more.
3) hmmm many questions in this paragraph. First, once again I agree that West needs no longer to exist. I think it was pretty damn clear why they brought Noah back. First to control his daughter, and also well based on his knowledge and understand of the company to try to bring him back in the fold, like they did. Another point is that I am sure Suresh didn't need the thought of himself being a murdered to haunt him for the rest of his life. Oh Elle, sweet sweet Elle, clearly she is going to be a main character in the next volume. She still needs to find out the truth about her lost memories as a child (another reason Noah needs to be alive). This unkown potential in her power is also quite intriguing. I belive her character development has gone on just fine. Being stuck in that facility your whole life would pretty much make you child-like in social situations. Also since her father was obviously her only "friend" and mentor it's pretty easy to understand why she is always looking to get his attention and do things right. I believe that once she finds out the truth of her past she'll leave the company, hate her father, and side with Noah.
4) Well I think they will bring Nathan back. My first thought was that since Peter knows Adam can cure he'll find Hiro and tell him to get Adam out. Adding more tension between Hiro and Peter.
To answer the question post on the topic, I believe the shooter was the invicible man.
Finally, clearly radiating a virus like what Peter did would completely destroy it. Since irradiation destroys atom bounds, Science: 1 Q-bert: 0.
5) Well this was pretty much covered by 3). I would like to see "The Bitches" powers though.
6) I like Adam. He knows his role.
7) Micah dark would make me puke worst then seeing West on screen. I already dislike Micah as is, no need to make him worse. I think it is obvious that Niki will be alive, not sure how, but she will be. Probably unleashed some new alternate form that got her out.
8) Not sure what they are going to do with Claire either. I hope she kills West is all.
Last, but not least, I hope Volume three is 10 times better then this last one. We can all agree on that.
If you mean the Christopher Ecclestone character, I thought they killed him off in season 1...
