PlayStation 3 Again Outsells Xbox 360 In February NPD

By Swag - Posted on 13 March 2008

While last month's console sales were closer, this time it's a lot different. I'll just cut to the chase.

The full charts are as follows:

Nintendo DS - 587.6K (from 251K)
Wii - 432K (from 274K)
PlayStation 2 - 351.8K
PlayStation 3 - 280.8K (from 269K)
Xbox 360 - 254.6K (from 230K)
PSP - 243.1K (from 230K)

"I don't give a shit about console sale figures"

"Who cares? I like my Xbox 360, that's all that matters"

"I am going to see Hannah Montana in 3D, so there"

.....

That 90% of the world's computers run Windows and it blows chunks, which goes to show just how much credence sales numbers have.

nobody "buys" windows. They buy a computer, and obviously they don't have much choice when it comes to the OS.

They could buy a Mac. But then, that would be assuming 90% of the people in the world are not complete freaking idiots.

And that's a stretch.

Although I bet if it wasn't "company policy" at so many corporations to buy Wintel boxes, Windows would shrivel up and die.

It was only a matter of time before everyone in the world bought an Xbox 360, and sales dropped off. But that's okay... after the next price drop, we'll all go "Prestige Mode" and buy a second (or third) unit. Long Live Microsoft!
