It's been confirmed by a couple sources that the teaser trailer below is indeed for the new PS4 announcement event on Feb 20th.
Rumour has it the new Xbox was supposed to be announced first, but Sony moved up their plans to be first.

Whatever happened to the lost art of actually putting some "tease" in a trailer? This is a logo with electricity, something any kid in animation school could do without knowing a damn thing about what is being promoted.
But I suppose that is to be expected when trying to build hype for an event that's meant to build hype.
"10 year plan" for the PS3?
And I won't comment about how a certain person said that the new Xbox was coming out last year.
But you know.
they say march...I had said december. So I was off by 3 months...kill me.
btw, when was your last prediction? ;)
So we will see (for the Xbox, not the PS4).
My next prediction is that Blackwalt will buy the next Call of Duty game, and most of you will buy it as a consequence.
