HoC experiences Dead Island Riptide: Day 12

As previously mentioned I am not wearing pants. Really. At this exact moment in time – no pants.

On to Dead Island Riptide. As previously mentioned Dead Island Riptide is significantly better as a multiplayer game, not really worth playing it as a single player experience.

Any ideas how I am playing Dead Island Riptide?

You are correct, mostly as single player. Although this time around other HoC members actually have copies of the game.

Don't get me wrong. I have had two good Sega Nites with both Graybush and Coxxorz. I have had several nights with just Graybush and one unusual Monday event with just Coxxorz. We have even made progress.

It turns out though that Dead Island Riptide has its hooks in me and I want to keep playing. So no problem, I'll just pop into the game by myself and finish a couple of the side missions. Maybe just a few more. Maybe all of them. Maybe I'll just hunt out some more side missions until the others join me. Maybe, maybe part of the main mission won't put me too far ahead.

Well since I started the main mission I'm sure Coxxorz and Graybush wouldn't mind if I finished it.

My promise to not play the game on my own seems to have been left by the wayside.

When I last left Coxxorz and Graybush we were finishing Chapter 2. I'm on Chapter 5. Honest I have no idea how that happened. My character is Level 43 now. I think I was Level 38 last time I played with one of them but it could have been lower.

I am 34% finished the game (at least) and about to move on to the next portion of the map. I have found at least 4 mods without them and I am sure I have jumped ahead on hidden collectibles. Significantly.

So I need to stop. Need to, but can't.

So this, this, is my solemn promise to not play any more single player without either or both Coxxorz and Graybush.

That is until Rolly goes to bed. After that all bets are off.

Although I will do my best to wait until after the hockey game is over. Go St. Louis!
