Me in this case, and it seems to be a campaign of confusion

While talking about the Zombie Army 4: Dead War Collector's Edition I referred to some issues with EBGames. Here is the promised story.

First I admit to having some problems with EBGames and their business strategies but I also admit that I still go there regularly. Partly because I have a kid and partly because they always have what you are looking for (video game related).

So when I realized that there was a Collector's Edition of Zombie Army 4 available I grabbed RollyC and headed straight to EBGames. Well... not straight there I first confirmed that it was available at EBGames Online and checked the price, $129.99.

I randomly got paired up with the same randoms as yesterday

Weird, huh?

This time in Call of Duty Ghost Extinction which was awesome as aliens are always a good change of pace from zombies. Don't worry though zombies, you're still my favourite. Honest.

At first I found them in Nightfall with both of them needing to be revived and at the far end of the map. I didn't make it. Something about just a pistol, no money, and all the aliens focused on me. So no. No revival for them.

Next map, Mayday, went a lot better as we made it to Hive 12, completed Hive 12, and defeated the Kraken.

These randoms are pretty good, I'll have to keep an eye out for them again. Maybe even tell them about Sega Nite.

However, we still managed to get to Level 24 in Nacht der Untoten which is pretty good for a bunch of random guys who have never played together before...

I discovered the Collector's Edition of Zombie Army 4: Dead War

Yes, that is a Zombie Shark figurine in the Zombie Army 4: Dead War Collector's Edition. The story of my issues with this edition and EBGames will come later.

Philips Hue box makes smart lights flash along with anything on your TV

The latest addition to the Philips Hue smart light system is a small black box that syncs a room full of lights with whatever’s happening on your TV. Games, movies, streaming media, or anything else you’re watching can pass through the box, which will perpetually adjust the color and brightness of your lights to match, theoretically creating a more immersive experience.

So yesterday Coxxorz texted me to say that once of his coworkers mentioned that Gears of War 5 was out tomorrow and that he (Coxxorz) may have to call in sick.

Then he sent a follow up text that he could only find September 10th as the official launch date.

I then told him about the early access for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Following up by letting him know I had already pre-downloaded it and with his reminder was all prepared to play tomorrow!

Very little of his response made it through my phone's profanity filter...
