Four player zombies in Black Ops IV

Four players! Although one of them had to download Black Ops IV while we waited (and by waited I totally meant played without him).

We did a tour of the three new zombie maps and played with our usual Herd of Cats' pinache! By which I mean randomly without ever knowing what the other three were up to...

"I pressed a button..."

"I may have opened a door..."

"How long have you been down?"

"It's a kilt, so I can flap around freely..."

Surprise I guess...

My copy is presently on a UPS truck but I don't expect to be playing it today...

It was announced by Activision that your physical copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will require a 50 GB day one patch.

Before playing for the first time, players will need to download and install a day one update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This update must be installed completely in order to access Multiplayer, Zombies, and Specialist Headquarters. Blackout is fully playable once installation is about 30% complete (approximately 16-20 GB).

Players must be connected to the internet when inserting the disc for the first time in order to initiate the update installation process. The final installation footprint will be approximately 55 GB.

The day one update package is roughly 50 GB. Download speeds may vary based on region, platform, connection type, and the speed of your internet connection.

There were two people Rolly wanted to see at Maker Faire New York...

Adam Savage who we managed to run into yesterday and Josef Prusa of Prusa Research (3D printers). Josef had a scheduled appearance time and wasn't quite as busy as Adam. He spoke to Rolly for a while about printers and filament. As well he even examined one of our prints that we had brought with us.

In a change from yesterday, Guba spotted Josef before Rolly and I. She still had no idea what he looked like but unlike Adam, Josef was wearing an Maker Faire badge with his name on it.

Day two. Don't panic though, this is the last day.

We ran into Adam Savage at the Maker Faire 2018 in New York City

While going to see him onstage we ran into him posing for photos with a Star Wars group. He was more than happy to stand with Rolly long enough for a photo. He appreciated the fact that we were staying later at the show just to catch him onstage.

Meanwhile, Guba, with no idea who Adam Savage was or what he looked like, had wandered off.
