Snow Leopard
Well, I ordered my family pack yesterday. That will take care of my two Intel boxes in the house, but what about my dual G5?
I am rather pissed at Apple for dropping all of PowerPC chips, but I guess that's the price Apple is willing to pay to double their hardware sales this year :-/
So, either I stay with Leopard on my main workstation, or I somehow convince Pebbles that I need a new workstation...

Makes you think that Steve is channeling Bill. The worst part is people seem to take it rather well that they are being forced to upgrade their hardware. Much better than when MS imposes such a change. One wonders in what state Windows would be if they could unilaterally decide that we will no longer support an entire line of processors that are still in use.
Makes me think of that timeless movie, Animal House.
"Thank you sir. May I have another?"
What if MS decided to unilaterally stop supporting a 2-year old operating system? Oh wait...
But MS also had to put in a lot of code to support every single bit of hardware out there, old and new.
Wait a minute, they are not stopping support, they are replacing it with a newer version. Those that want to stay with it (I don't know why they would) can still stay and get support.
So they just have to buy another operating system.
When was the last time Microsoft charged $39 for one of their operating systems ?
