EA To Close Several Online Servers
Maybe this explains why me and Coxxorz can't connect to the Battlefield 1943 servers pretty much all the time.
From the article*:
"Electronic Arts is set to close servers for a number of its games, removing the online component from titles like Godfather and Battlefield 1943 beginning in March."

Because I wouldn't put it past them.
I honestly don't know why they insist on operating their own servers, if it's too much trouble to maintain them. It all started with Burnout, which is ironically the next to go.
I recommend we play Burnout 3: Takedown next HoC Nite. It could be a regular feature! "Abandoned EA Game of the Week: Your Last Chance to Play That Title You Overpaid For Last Year And Probably Didn't Finish Yet".
