So Amazon Prime made me want to go to EBGames. How wrong is that?

So here is the thing. Yesterday I posted a story about my Call of Duty: WW2 being shipped from Amazon! It was a happy story. An upbeat story. One complete with a guaranteed delivery date of November 3rd, 2017.

Guess what an Amazon Prime guaranteed delivery date is worth?

Yes, exactly that. Nothing.

I spent the day alternating between a message from Amazon Prime saying my order had left the warehouse and was with the shipping provider AND a message from Canada Post saying that an electronic shipping label had been printed.

My query to Amazon was answered with an assurance that I would be receiving my package today, "I contacted our shipping team with high priority and confirm that your order #701-1730499-7304210 will be delivered today by the end of business day November 3, 2017."

This was not the truth.

Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! Zombies!

Just so you know, I may have pre-ordered.

And I may not be waiting for you guys to play...

For our most recent secret Coop Day Pwn Call and I vacillated on our game choice for weeks. Finally settling on How to Survive 2 for a whopping $4.95 (CDN). We took advantage of the Xbox Schocktober sale to pick up this 4-player, cooperative, zombie survival game. The sequel to August 2015's Games with Gold How to Survive which SeanMCR called "the worst zombie game I've ever played."

Apparently Activision has submitted a patent which suggests matching weak players against strong players intentionally to help convince them to purchase microtransactions. You know, the usual pay to win online scum and villainy but now patented.

I saw no zombies at all in this story

So last Saturday I turned 50, and Stormblade, Blackwalt, Q-Bert were there with their families. Fun times were had.


Stormblade gave me a dictionary and mad lib pads and Q-Bert gave me a reddit t-shirt.
Blackwalt.... Well.... Let's put it this way. The card on top of the bag that he gave me was addressed to "Princess Revek". Foreshadowing I think. As you can see from the picture, it was a collection of DC super-hero figurines, their associated story book, hotwheel car and pezz dispencer.
