All the coverage of Zombie Army Trilogy made me remember something

Sniper Elite 3 was released for the Xbox One. I had forgotten. Both Coxxorz and I grabbed our copies for the Xbox 360 and proceeded to enjoy them. We played a significant portion of the campaign cooperatively. I also managed to play the entire campaign single player and gathered most of the collectibles.

Note that Sniper Elite 3 did not reach AAA status despite it's best efforts but if you are interested in WWII Africa or sniper games in general then you should pick this up.

I don't care about you guys, I wanted to know more

Let's start off with the priority. When I first read available 2015 I automatically assumed the worst with a November or December release date. Turns out I was wrong. The Official release date as posted on Steam is March 6, 2015. I also noticed one site stating first quarter 2015 which matches the March release date. One problem, of course, March 6th appears to be a Friday. Console releases tend to be on Tuesdays. Which means March 10th is more likely.

Everything I have read states that Rebellion will be self-publishing Zombie Army Trilogy which makes sense. That is how they published Nazi Zombie Army 1 and 2 through Steam. I suspect this means we won't be seeing boxed copies and will be downloading it through the Xbox Store. I did read a reference to Zombie Army Trilogy being available through the PSN Store which seems to back this up.

I may be so happy about this that I did a little dance. May have. And it may have been ugly.

The Trilogy will include the previously released on PC only Nazi Zombie Army 1 and Nazi Zombie Army 2 as well as an all new Nazi Zombie Army 3.

Something about this Xbox One Gamerpic seemed familiar

So the image on the left is from a Xbox One Friend's user profile. When I first spotted it two days ago I thought something seemed familiar.

The image on the right is from a Herd of Cats' post. The Dig and Play LAN invite from April 2009.

I am not trying to claim copyright or necessarily any ownership. Just pointing out that Herd of Cats got there first. Five years ago. So there, Microsoft, so there.

I am also not suggesting that a zombie hand holding a controller is extremely original or anything and I am aware that our version is mostly copy and pasted from clip art. Deal with it.
