Do not buy this until you have at least glanced at the (not positive) reviews. This series is supposedly separate from the Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide, and Dead Island 2 series.

Anyway, just released this week, $39.99 price point, Xbox 360/PS3 generation, at this point skip.

PS- I can see that at some point someone said "can we make Dead Island look more like Borderlands" and it stuck.

This turned out to be anti-climatic after I looked into it

Today a friend asked me to help him out with connecting an external hard drive to his Xbox One. A real friend, not a friend like you guys. So for him, I looked into it.

Turns out all you need to do is plug in an external hard drive and format it. Wow Microsoft, really? What's with that? How un-Microsoftian of you.

There is a little more to it than that but not much.

An accurate review of Assassins Creed Unity

It really does seem that Ubisoft is trying to become the new EA. Not a target I would think anyone was aiming for.

Every time I read about the required Cell Phone/Tablet App I realize that neither my phone or my tablet are capable (not new enough) to run the Assassins Creed companion App. I wonder how many legitimate buyers are locked out of a chunk of their game due to similar issues. I do realize there are a lot more contentious problems before this one but still.

PS- I guess my copy of Assassins Creed Black Flag will remain in the shrink wrap...
