Off to Pax East

By Akuf - Posted on 02 April 2012

Well I am off to PAX east (leaving Thursday morning, returning Monday Morning). I would have been there wearing an HoC Shirt and representing HoC but well... no one gave me one! Anyway, I will be there dress in a Pikatron costume (Pikachoo (sp?) meets Tron) for the Pokemon pub crawl. I will take loads of pics and post them upon my return.

Here is the event map: http://hw1.pa-cdn.com/pax/resources/PAX_East_2012_Expo_Map.pdf

No staple shall escape his sight

By Blackwalt - Posted on 01 April 2012

Not sure where I saw the Assassin's Creed logo compared to a staple remover, probably 9GAG, but when I saw it, it immediately morphed into this.

What can I say, when a budding hero sets out to save the free world he needs to set his sights... at a more reasonable level.

Black Friday: Person of Interest

This week: Rebecca Black – Person of Interest

While I had previously posted the sneak peak of Person of Interest I realized that I have never posted the full version. So here it is. Sorry in advance.

Orbis (AKA PS4)

By Akuf - Posted on 30 March 2012

There has been a lot of chatter lately about the next generation consoles on the interwebs. Most (all) of them are really rumours however reading this about the next Playstation made me go whaaaaa?

Another rumour is that you won't be able to share the games with other consoles, or sell them second-hand.

This is because new games will be 'locked' to one PlayStation account. You also won't be able to play PS3 games on it as it won't be "backwards-compatible".

So more loaning games? Seriously?

Another Clan Op!

By Coxxorz - Posted on 29 March 2012

Our clan XP for the last competition has been awarded, and we just need 13 more points to level up. Thirteen!

All we'd need to do is bump into someone fairly hard, or shout some choice obscenities to earn that. But sadly, that's not how it works.

LOLz... Not even April 1st yet

RAMORE, Ont. - Millions of dollars in coins and a shipment of candy were scattered across an Ontario highway Wednesday following the crash of a Brinks tractor-trailer that seriously injured two people.
Both of the men who were in the Brinks truck were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Highway 11, north of Kirkland Lake in northeastern Ontario, when the truck crossed the centre line and collided with a rock face, said Ontario Provincial Police Const. Marc Depatie.
The crash also caused a number of chain-reaction collisions, but the injuries were minor, he said.
One of the trucks involved in the resulting crashes was carrying candy, he said.
That candy, along with $3 million to $5 million worth of loonies and toonies were strewn on the road and in the surrounding bush.

By Coxxorz - Posted on 27 March 2012

After a less than auspicious debut, the Call of Duty Elite "Clan Operations" seem to have returned.

Operation Raccoon City belies the critics

By Blackwalt - Posted on 24 March 2012

Capcom and Slant Six laugh all the way to the bank

MSXboxWorld reports Operation Raccoon City says screw you critics - massive week 1 sales?

The game has been panned by many critics, and yet looking at the numbers on Xbox 360 alone, there are some impressive figures. Whilst Capcom haven't released any official figures, and VGchartz aren't offering any estimates, last night we had our game controller scroll through the entire list of Gamertags on the game's leaderboards...

Note that this is only in North America. The game was released three days later (yesterday) in Europe.

Black Friday: the complete lyrics

This week: Rebecca Black – the lyrics to Friday

I thought it was about time that I posted the complete lyrics to Rebecca Black's hit song Friday. Because so many of you have such poor short term memory.

Friday lyrics by Rebecca Black

Try to contain yourself. And Stormblade? Stop signing it out loud.
