Today is Willian Shatner's birthday, and Maurice Lamarche (aka The Brain) has declared it the first annual International Talk Like William Shatner day. This is a holiday I can truly get behind. Watch and learn.
Wanted: Weapons of Fate Demo - Impressions
It has been a while (from what I can remember at least) since a video game from a movie came significantly after the movie itself was released. In fact that last time that it happened was with Goldeneye. And I think few people remember that Goldeneye the movie was released in 1995, but the video game came in 1997.

The history of homebrew on the Wii
Chapter 0 - {root@wii}#
It all started back before the Wii was released with some people trying to get a Linux distro going on the GameCube. Since the Wii is effectively a 2X speed Gamecube with USB, an SD card reader and Bluetooth connectivity, the groups redirected their efforts on the Wii.
THe first major breakthru came from Team Twiizers which discovered a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Zelda Twilight Princess game. It involved setting the horse's name to an invalid value, Read more
Stormblade and Blackwalt play Saints Row 2
We need a car, quick grab a 4-door.
So Saints Row 2 has lots of cars. Fancy ones, limos, trucks, city vehicles and, yes, cars your mom wouldn't be caught in.
So there Stormblade and I were playing Hot Fuzz. Him, I and the cameraman with our police car burning away beside us as we were quelling the Battle of the Century between Pirates and Ninjas with Rocket Launchers (which may or may not explain the smoking police car). I turned around and after one look at the smoking hulk behind (suspiciously) Stormblade came to the immediate conclusion that we needed a new car to chase the Arson spreading students in the TrailBlazing outfits. "Quick get a 4-door."

The Watchmen - A Review
Who Watched the Watchmen?
I did. Twice.
I wanted to wait a while before posting my review as I did not want to spoil anything about the movie for those who had not seen it and wanted to.
First off, to get it out of the way: I loved it. It is a good movie. It has a good story, which is definitely not your run of the mill typical American movie (no offense Troll). It has very good cinematography. The costumes where well designed, and believable. Read more
New Nazi Zombie map in CoD: WaW downloadable content
I'm all for another Zombie map but enough with the cash grab already
The new DLC for Call of Duty World at War is out and as well as three regular multiplayer maps they are including an additional map for the Nazi Zombie mode.
From the Xbox Marketplace entry:
- ...the Nazi Zombies return in "Verruckt" (Zombie Asylum) featuring more weapons, new Perks-a-Cola machines and electroshock defenses.
Now all of this sounds good. Really good. Really, really good.

Streaming Alternatives
Well I refuse to install vista.
