Got my site fixed

By Half-pint - Posted on 01 May 2008

And only a little blood spilled

Some judicious applicantion of my claws, a bite here and there, and some screaming like a little girl, "ow, ow, ow, let go, let go! Not there... noooo! I'll fix it, I'll fix it!!!"

Not my screaming of course.

And while I can't guarantee the lessening of GTA4 coverage, at least we aren't slapped in the face each time the site reloads.

Let me know if we got it all. My claws are still sharp.

<break> for real life

I think this article says it all. Atleast what I have been talking about forever.

I espacially agree with #1 and #2. Probably why most new games blow total balls and why pirating was invented.

Ultimate battle across the Multi-Verse

Last night prior to the "Big Release" Rolly and I had our own gaming adventure.

Rolly had a request in for "drive" so we booted up Burnout Paradise and tooled around the town. During this drive he collected all the action figures within range, defining range as anything the Daddy could lift him up to reach. Read more

GTA IV Reviews: An Exercise In Hyperbolism

By Swag - Posted on 28 April 2008

What has this site become? A huge billboard for Rockstar Games?.....sad. If this was my site, I'd ban people who posted multiple GTA reivews... /ban +all

"....It's an exercise in reviewing the reviews of GTA IV. Or, to be more precise, the hyperbole. Because when a game gets 10/10, 100/100 and five stars across the board, you've gotta do something to break up the monotony, right?"

I'll be back in a couple weeks

By Noir - Posted on 27 April 2008

Since all that is going to be talked about for the next couple weeks will be lame GTA 4 and hooker killing.

Time for you losers to run to the store like the consumer whores that you are. IGN gives GTA 4 10/10

By Swag - Posted on 25 April 2008

Patranizing aside, I guess it really is that good. I'll have to go get myself a copy...if I had a Xbox 360.

Personally I believe that no game should get a perfect 10....

Death to the Usurpers!

By Noir - Posted on 22 April 2008

I say death to everyone who owns a Sony or Microsoft console. Nintendo is the true heir to the gaming Empire and all others are traitors and usurpers! (Except the Sega Dreamcast console, because it's coo'.)

It would be a fair fight. Nintendo's 20+ million vs the 20+ million combined power of Sony and Microsoft [next gen.]. Although if you include the 'next gen' portable hand held systems, that would heavily tip the scale in favour of Nintendo.

Damn traitors.

Sony, Sony, Sony

For a company that is located in Japan one would think they can get some simple Math right. I could understand it if it was Microsoft, since americans have no education, but certainly not the mighty japenese.

I am speaking about PS3's controller, called the SixAxis. It has always puzzled me as to WHY they call it that, and to this day I still can't understand it. Therefore, I will ask the combined power of the Herd to help solve this riddle.

I am pretty good with Math and I know there are two Math Majors on this site. Read more

I pose a conundrum, a riddle if you will.

What is gigantic like a whale,
dumber than the rest,

You gotta be kidding!

Ok now, a video game catered to running around Vegas and 'living the life'

They must have had Revek in mind for this one....

Review: eastern standard tribe by Cory Doctorow

By Q-Bert - Posted on 15 April 2008

Yes, the title is lower-case.

This is my first novel-length story from Cory, a good 'ol canuck. The story follows Art Berry, an EST-born dude living in the GMT timezone. The major premise of the story is that Art feels loyalty to his EST timezone and works as an agent-provocateur by working for an England firm and introducing complexity into projects given to him in order to sabotage them. This way, he gets the GMT-based company in hot water, and makes EST-based companies look better in comparison. Read more
