Still fun but starting to show it's issues

Once again Sega Nite started with only myself and Coxxorz. Xbox Live messaged me that Coxxorz was playing Star Trek. This message came immediately after he signed in. So I switched to Star Trek, launched a game and invited him to join my game and party. Then I waited...

Xbox Live did not follow up with a message about Coxxorz going to have supper, cleaning his garage, rearranging his sock drawer. All those things that left me waiting for an additional 20 minutes. I was left trying to remember exactly why I had bothered to switch game disks...

But finally, eventually, Coxxorz joined my game and then, significantly later, my Live Party. Complete with the complaint about why didn't I invite him to my Live Party? I apologized for only inviting him TWICE!

Meh. Close enough.

My CR/V is broken and it's his fault!

This morning I needed to borrow some electronics from Graybush. Second to Coxxorz, he is where I borrow my electronics. You would think he would be first but no. There is one primary ingredient in the process of borrowing from Graybush, coffee. Preferably Tim Horton's coffee. No coffee and you might as well go home.

No problem. I'll hit the drive thru on the way over to meet him. This is, as best as I can remember, where things went wrong.

There is also a required update which really isn't a surprise. The DLC itself is 1.29GB and, don't worry, there is no way I would download this ahead of you guys.

This is not another Artemis post. Although we should totally do that again! Version 2 is out!

This is about the 2013 release Star Trek the video game. Which despite creative advertising did not review well (43% at Gamerankings). This was unfortunate because it supported full two player coop and I had been keeping an eye on it for just that reason.

However a bad game at $59.99 does not always mean a bad game at a lower price. And some games turn out to be significantly better played cooperatively vs single player. I am looking at you Aliens Colonial Marines! (which was both cheap ($9.99) and played better cooperatively)

Did I find Star Trek at $9.99? No I did not. I found it at $9.77 in the bargain, bargain section of Walmart. I was only buying it if I could find two copies and boy did I have to dig for that second copy! Which was marked and scanned at $14.99. I made Coxxorz pay for that one btw.
