Sesquicentennial Logo Contest
So by now you've probably seen the utter crap the Canadian Heritage Department has come up with for Canada's 150th Birthday (yes, that's what sesquicentennial means). In case you haven't, check out this article published in our local newspaper: ‘Amateurish’ sesquicentennial logos spark Canadian yawns. Even the ads on that site are designed better. And most of those are done in the Philippines! Read more
HoC Random Tag Whores of the Day – 11302013
No way I was letting SeanMCR out tag whore me!
Halfway through the match SeanMCR told me how proud of him I would be for the amount of Tag Whoring he was doing. I replied (as I was running through a group of three tags) "I'm always proud of you SeanMCR but I am also tag whoring all over the place." I figured there was no way he was going to beat the number of tags I had collected. Technically I was correct.
We both spent a couple of minutes laughing when the totals came up. Still no idea what game mode our other teammates were playing.
HoC X-Com Enemy Unknown – 105 days seems like a long time
And when I am spending it with you guys, it is...
- With the release of X-com Enemy Within I felt it was time to revisit the continuing story of the HoC X-Com team. When Last we left them they had just finished a dispute with the local union and were recovering from the loss of a popular teammate.
As you can tell from the lack of red X's in the banner I have reset the game from our last outing by loading a previous save.
While I could live without Colonel Gren Del, Major Kar Loff, Colonel Dark Nightowl, Colonel Gray Bush and Colonel Q-Bert I must admit to giving out a cry of dismay when I noticed one of the fallen was Colonel Claudia Schafer. It's no secret she is my favourite.
And no wonder:
She is even gifted! What can't she do? (not surprised by Col. I Ce and Col. GrenDel's results by the way)
She's like the Anti-Colonel Storm Blade, my least favourite soldier. I would go into the myriad issues against Colonel Storm Blade but that horse is already dead.
HoC X-Com Enemy Unknown – One Hundred and Three Days Later
With the release of X-com Enemy Within I felt it was time to revisit the continuing story of the HoC X-Com team. When Last we left them they had just finished a dispute with the local union and were recovering from the loss of a popular teammate. the last story of Stormblade's lack of any gift is not worth mentioning...
So back we go into the field. With the Union mandated team.

MegaBlocks: now in Call of Duty form
I thought I was happy about this. Until...
I was walking around Walmart when I discovered that Call of Duty is available in Megablocks form. I managed not to buy any at the time as I wasn't really wowed by any of the subject matter. That was until I saw the Dome Battleground set. That was one I was interested in.
And then a couple of weeks later Coxxorz gave out smaller sets as door prizes for his Ghosts LAN party.
Ghosts!
Now that the LAN party is over and everyone has had a chance to actually buy the game, let's play some Call of Duty: Ghosts!
Don't forget, this is the last CoD that will come out for the Xbox 360, so you better shit or get off the pot. Preferably both.
P.S.: My toilet is still not working right.
