Recently we have spent a lot of time in the new Call of Duty BlackOps Rezurrection, The Moon map. Why shouldn't you benefit from our "educational" experience.

• The MPL from the first room in Corridor Six is better than you would expect. A good starter weapon for $1000.
• The names of rogue astronauts come from the Host's Xbox Live friends list. It's the only way some friends ever play with us.

Recently we have spent a lot of time in the new Call of Duty BlackOps Rezurrection, The Moon map. Why shouldn't you benefit from our "educational" experience.

Visiting the Bio-Dome and it's jump pads.
• The best spot we have found to camp is the Tickle Trunk spawn point at the back of the bio-dome.
• If you hit a jump pad you need to steer (in the air)to hit the next jump pad and the landing pad. As well as all jump pads along the way.
• if you miss a jump pad and hit the ground you will need to be revived.
• Unless you manage to bump against rocks or some other obstacle along the way. It slows your fall just enough. Zombies do not count as "other obstacles."

So I am going to start this off with the words Stormblade shared with me when he arrived at the house yesterday morning:

"Good, you're wearing pants."

Lucky for him he was late.

I find that most of the things I want to write about Dead Island are the little niggly things that I find wrong with it. Well the reason these things annoy me is because of how much they got right.

Did I say that yesterday's tip was the last one about the Hacker? I lied. It's okay though as this tip is cooler than fezes. But not as cool as accordions cause that would be impossible.
• you can hack dropped power-ups! For $5000 you can hack any power-up into a Max Ammo! See, now that's cool. Of course, if you have a Max Ammo you can hack it into a Fire Sale.
• you can not hack the Tickle Trunk. But you can hack a weapon from the Tickle Trunk before you grab it, essentially re-rolling the dice. For $600. If you hack the re-roll it does something with allowing everyone to grab the gun but we have not done this.

Technically I looked up some of the previous Hacker tips. We did not learn all of them on our own. But some of them, yes.

This game certainly looks more realistic than MW3! But that's always been my issue with the franchise. I find it impossible to shoot and kill in this game using my 720p plasma. The one time I played it on a 50' 1080 LCD...it was much, much better....I'll probably buy it anyway ;)

Good God! Enough about the Hacker. Well okay. After this one.
• you can hack the Pack-a-punch machine back on Earth. It closes a cage around you to keep you safe from the Zombies.
• a hacked Pack-a-punch cost only $3000
• If upgraded ammo is too expensive you can hack wall guns. It swaps the cost of the two ammo types – upgraded ammo becomes cheap and regular ammo becomes expensive. Obviously only useful later on and if you have that specific upgraded weapon.

But there's something else going on here, something that makes "Friday" uniquely compelling. After all, there's no shortage of insipid failed pop music out there, and Ark Music Factory is responsible for many other music videos by young unknowns that are just as cringe-inducing, if not much worse. When you see this video, you immediately notice everything that it does "wrong," but it actually gets a lot of things about pop music right, if just by accident.

I am wearing pants. Let's get that out of the way.

So I find myself 10% through the main quest of Dead Island and I find myself constantly drawn back to it. I want to load it up and play it. This is good thing. I also find myself frustrated by a couple of basic game processes. This is a bad thing. So let's talk about the Official Dead Island Map App.

My original costume idea proved to be too difficult to accomplish this year. So, I had a back up plan. Since Gear of War 3 is being released this month. I decided to make a GoW costume.

I am starting by making the lancer.

The Beginning

Man....I LOVE the sounds of this game...and the visuals. I think I'm going to need 2 days off for the launch.

That's a new high for the Moon by the way. It was particularly difficult once we passed 11:30 and Stormblade started whining complaining about his nap time. Coxxorz just woke up! Do you hear him complaining?

Although Coxxorz did seem to spend a lot of time lying on his ass – rivived 15 times? What's up with that?

The previous story where we reached Level 1 was our second try. Our do over. Fortunately our third try worked.

And we were missing a few notes

Yes this is Level 1. Before we even left Earth.

So our primary team of Zombie Mode has always been Graybush, Me, Coxxorz and Stormblade, in particular order, but we don't play together as much.

It seems that all the missed rehearsals has had an effect.

This would have been another Keystone Cops entry if it had lasted any longer.

What? The Hacker again? Well yes, cause it's cool! Just like Fezes and accordions.
• the Hacker can stop the Excavators. You just have to return to the starting area. Which is possible even though you don't have a P.E.S. Unless, well you know, no atmosphere.
• each Excavator you stop by hacking earns you $1000
• hacking an open window closes the window - earning $100 whether it's one board or all of them
