What can I say. Graybush wasn't online yet.

Recently we have spent a lot of time in the new Call of Duty BlackOps Rezurrection, The Moon map. Why shouldn't you benefit from our "educational" experience.

Gersch Device

Today we continue with our resident grenade expert Graybush:
• There are two new grenade types: QED (Quantum Entanglement Device) and the Gersch Device
• Both are tactical grenades that take up your secondary grenade slot - one will override the other similar to molotov cocktails overriding monkey bombs. A lesson that took a while for Graybush to learn.
• The Gersch Device is large box like grenade which generates black holes. It takes a few seconds to activate similar to the Monkey Bomb. When activated it creates a singularity which sucks all nearby zombies into it. We have seen it pull zombies closer, then deactivate leaving the zombies not only alive but closer than when the grenade was tossed. Fair warning.
  Q.E.D
• The QED grenade suits our play style. It's random. It does different things whenever you throw it. We have had it:
  • explode in a manner similar to the astronauts
  • drop a weapon (a Steyr Aug in our case)
  • teleport the player
  • do nothing (as far as we could tell)
  • apparently it has 23 different effects

As most of you know Halloween is my favorite time of year for many reasons. The main being this is when women let loose and show their inner monster. Of course it is also the time of year when I let my artistic side come out.

Most of the materials are bought. Just need chicken wire and some sealant foam. I am starting later than usual (usually start making the costume April etc, but because of unforeseen circumstances, I could not start until last week. I hope I will finish it in time.

• Grenades fly differently in low gravity, throw low and carefully
• Practice, practice, practice
• Don't throw grenades in the initial spawn room on the Moon. They shatter the windows and the area will no longer hold atmosphere. Important for later on.

Graybush and Blackwalt go to the Moon. High jinks ensue.

It was an entertaining night for Graybush and me. Once again in Zombie mode testing out the new Moon map.

The way it started you think we would have known to give up for the night.

If I have to ask a stupid question, you're the guys to ask

Rolly's play structure is finished and he has designated it a spaceship.

So I am in the process of building his spaceship a control panel and I am looking for toggle switches. Everyone who sells new is fairly expensive per unit.

I figured if anyone had a stash of these in their basement it would be you guys.

So if anyone has any toggle switches (or any other kind of cool surplus electronics) please let me know.

Of course, we were back to just Graybush and I. As much as I want to say this is how it should be, I have to admit I have gotten used to the extra meat shields.

There may have been some casualties along the way...

Come watch the Major League Gaming finals taking place in Raleigh, NC with a bunch of fellow StarCraft fans. If all goes well we'll definitely make this a regular thing. Show up and be one of the few who will be able to say they were there when it all started!

I've reserved the large basement room for us so we'll have the use of the large projector down there - there will be no squinting at small screens to see the supply.
