Some things beg to be shared

Stormblade dancing in Black Ops Zombie Mode is one of those things

Yes this was a glitch but its not the first time that Stormblade danced during a Zombie apocalypse. He danced for quite a while as Coxxorz, Graybush, DarkNightOwl and I watched, took pictures, took video (duh) and, yes, even danced along. What can I say, it was an HoC party.

FRAKKERS!!!!!!!

let's hop this doesn't become common...

Internet customer names sought for Hurt Locker suits
Three Canadian internet service providers have until the end of Monday, Sept. 12, to hand over the names of customers suspected to have illegally shared The Hurt Locker movie online.

"What makes this a particularly noteworthy case is it's the first big peer-to-peer copyright litigation in Canada in a number of years", said Michael Geist, a law professor at the University of Ottawa who holds a Canada Research Chair in internet and e-commerce law.
Geist said under existing Canadian copyright law, defendants could be liable for up to $20,000 in damages.

Bell, Cogeco and Vidéotron received a federal court order Aug. 29, signed by Judge Michel Shore, ordering them to provide the names and addresses of accused customers within two weeks. The customers in question are linked to internet addresses called IP addresses that are alleged to have been used to illegally copy and distribute the movie using peer-to-peer file-sharing applications.

HoC experiences Dead Island: day whatever

By Blackwalt - Posted on 15 September 2011

Too busy questing to keep track of what day it is! The quests are taking over! I think I'm on a quest to find my pants next.

    Questing, questing, questing
    Never resting
    Questing, questing, questing
    Racing to the rock

    - The Backyardigans

Still haven't tried multiplayer. Coxxorz's 'deal' seems to be having issues. Glad he saved the $10.

Gears of War 3 Steelbooks not guaranteed

By Coxxorz - Posted on 15 September 2011

This week gamers with Gears of War 3 pre-orders at Future Shop were dismayed to discover that they will not automatically be receiving the exclusive "Steelbook" case that the electronics giant had earlier promised. Instead, they are asking the angry mobs to amass outside their stores in the middle of the night.

Dead Island!

By Coxxorz - Posted on 14 September 2011

-00-00

Or at least that's what we would be playing, if Future Shop had gotten off its fat ass and shipped mine and Graybush's copies of the game. Seriously, the game has been out for over a week, and not even so much as an email from them! I honestly don't think retailers know the meaning of the word "pre-order" anymore. That's strike one, Future Shop.

Blockbuster South Keys closing!

By MauriceRevek - Posted on 13 September 2011

Stopped by the Blockbuster at South Keys yesterday (actually, was going to the bank right in front of it, but I digress), and saw the store closing signs indicating many great rebates and everything must go posted on all the windows! Of course, being the responsible consumer that I am, I had to go investigate what potential deals I could get. Read more

Happy Programmer Day!

By MauriceRevek - Posted on 13 September 2011

Woohoo! A holiday just for us! And what do we do on this day? Why go to work and programm. Wait a minute. Should we not have the day off and be able to do cool stuff to celebrate? Like upgrade my OS, reinstall my drivers, compile my kernel (not, this is not meant as a kinky double-entendre).

Life's simple pleasures

By Stormblade - Posted on 13 September 2011

I was at a demo today, but they couldn't access the server it was on.

And it was Q-Bert's fault.

And for some reason I found myself enjoying that.

The White Luke Cage

By Blackwalt - Posted on 13 September 2011

It's not so much that they came up with the idea, it's that they filmed it

Just in case you were concerned I am pretty sure this is not officially sanctioned in any way. At all.

Rogers admits to "Throttling" online games

By SeanmcR6 - Posted on 12 September 2011

Seriously....go to hell Rogers.

Maybe some of my issues are because Shaw is doing the same thing?! They should have to TELL you when they are throttling your connection....
