So last night I logged into Xbox live and immediately received an invite. Literally one second after getting online.

So I accepted. Nothing like being wanted which is exactly why I go online in the first place. To feel wanted.

I was surprised to get an Xbox message "please insert your Call of Duty WAW disk". Isn't that what is in? Wait... WAW? World at war? Just how drunk is Graybush?

Turns out pretty drunk but this was unrelated.

As SeanMCR pointed out, significant portions of Call of Duty Black Ops were down and users were unable to play it online. But World at War? World at War worked just fine.

Let's just say that things did not work out exactly as planned.

In truth, we had a great view of the smoke coming off of the fireworks. The fireworks? Not so much.

It worked out well though as a move into the front yard provided everyone with an excellent view of the fireworks. Leaning against the garage door turned out to be the prime vantage point.

I know you technically can't kill zombies, but it sure is fun to maim them in this ragdoll cannon-style target game.

I've been out of the hardware loop for about 4 years. I need to build a new PC that I am going to use run multiple VM's on for doing software and database development. Probably 3 VMS at a minimum) It needs to be quite powerfull because of the O/S and tools i'll be running (Windows Server 2008, SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2008, .NET framework, Project Server 2010)
