Reddit AMA with Tim Jones from Rebellion
Tim Jones is the Head of Creative for Rebellion and Zombie Army Trilogy
While the entire Ask Me Anything is still online at Reddit I have picked out the crucial bits to stop all the whining of "too long, did not read."
But I am making you click on Read More to get to the crucial bits so mileage may vary...
Zombie Army Trilogy preview - GGSgamer
Dev 2 476291739 reminds me of someone...
GGSgamer posted a preview of Zombie Army Trilogy and they seem to have liked it. The release date is getting closer. Time for me to get some MS cash into my Live account. And to properly prepare for our super secret zombie LAN. Dammit! Did I just talk about it?
In stark contrast, Dev 2 476291739 was running around like a metaphorical headless chicken. Having booby trapped some of the doors, I could only assume that he’d been trying to find the best vantage point with which to endure what we all knew was only moments away now – though we weren’t entirely sure what awaited us.

Deals with Gold: Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition
I have mixed feelings about this. Let me explain.
Not about Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. You should definitely buy that. It was an HoC Xbox One Game Recommendation.
Again my issue is with Microsoft's deceptive advertising practices. You remember my complaint about Microsoft using Halo to advertise their Ultimate Game Sale. To be fair, The Master Chief Collection did show up for the last two days at 40% off, but only the last two days and they were using it to draw people in well before that.
No my issue is with Microsoft's 60% off for Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition because it makes it seem so appealing. Really 60% off is a good deal. Except for one ugly fact...
Awesome ways to deal with snow
There really is a site called earthporm.com (see what they did there?) and they have an awesome pictorial of cool homemade snow sculptures.
Now if only we knew someone with lots of snow in his back yard and way too much time on his hands ...
7 Reasons to Upgrade to Zombie Army Trilogy
They had me at number two
So Rebellion sent me an email with a new trailer in it! For some reason they called this personal missive to me a newsletter. I call my personal missives to them love notes! Or I did until their lawyers called. Hah, like that's my first restraining order!
And to Rebellion I say that it is not an upgrade to some of us as this is the first console version. Just saying. I do own Nazi Zombie 1 and Nazi Zombie Army 2 on Steam but I have never played them as I don't have a gaming PC.
Canada no longer shunned by Zombie Army Trilogy
Apparently my screams could be heard across the Atlantic
Although still no pre-orders available so my previous story still stands. On a technicality sure, but it still stands.
The Zombie Army Trilogy Official Site was updated today to include the following message under the North America pre-order option:
Launches digitally on Xbox Live and Playstation stores March 6.
Sign up to be notified if a retail version becomes available.
So no boxed editions and no pre-orders but it will be available digitally on its original launch date.
Eurogamer plays Zombie Army Trilogy
This was at the Rebellion Community Event
I stopped watching fairly quickly as I don't want to spoil the experience.

Zombie Army Trilogy - no pre-order for you Canada!
But... but... we share the same Queen
- Eventually I will stop writing about Zombie Army Trilogy. Today is not that day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.
I was checking out the Zombie Army Trilogy Official Site today (as I am wont to do) when I discovered that pre-orders for console versions was active!
All right! Let's go... except I live in Canada. Wait. Pre-orders are not supported in Canada. Or in the USA. Or technically, Mexico, so it is a clean sweep for North America. No pre-order for you!
Microsoft's Deceit in Advertising: the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale
Error, omission, or deceit. It's still far from truth in advertising
It's probably true that I am not Microsoft's biggest fan. This despite my loyalty to their Xbox brand starting from the original Xbox (which I still have). However I expect that even their biggest fan would find it deceitful that they were advertising their Xbox Ultimate Game Sale using Master Chief (shown in the above picture) when he is nowhere to be found in the sale.
Black Ops 3 leaked as Treyarch's next game
I was voting for World at War 2 but I am okay with this
- I’ve been in contact with a source that’s close to Treyarch, and they’ve confirmed that their next game will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
More information at Good Game Bro but I wouldn't watch the video as it is a waste of space. Someone playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with the text "Treyarch’s Next Game is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" super imposed.
It's a Sniper Elite Double Deal!!!

HoC interviews Order of Canada Recipient Dr. Robin Williams
Hey guys I'm Rocketroland and this weekend I interviewed an Order of Canada recipient Doctor Robin Williams. I'd like to thank her for setting aside some time for the interview.
RocketRoland: So how did you get the Order of Canada.
Dr. Robin Williams: Oh that's a really good question. You know what, I am a team player so I have had wonderful people that I have worked with my whole life and as a result I've been able to do some things that have made a difference for...
RocketRoland: ...like the Early Years Center...
Dr. Robin Williams: ...the Early Years Center is one example so there isn't any single thing that I did, it's just that I had a whole bunch of folks that I worked with over the years.
