Graybush sent me this picture with the note "This reminded me of Rolly's comment regarding fish and cats..."

I had a conversation with Rolly about getting a new cat last month. Rolly's response was we can't get a cat until all the fish are gone. I shared this logic that night with Graybush who was greatly entertained.

Rolly and I are still discussing the issues behind sharing a household with cats and fish and Batman at the same time.

At first I thought this was for real.
Like I said some people have way too much time on their hands...

Though I have to admit it is very well done and creative.

Although it's not really totally awesome because CoD Zombie Mode only came in at number seven. There is something seriously wrong with that. Everyone knows CoD Zombie Mode should have been first, second and third. Not to mention that it was the Black Ops version listed and not the World at War version.

There was something in the air these days, and in fact this is the revelation: there are textual, but a press release the first images of Saints Row 3, and one of these you can also see the release date set for next Christmas 2011.

Computer and Videogames has an interview with Danny Bilson, THQ's VP of core games. Saints Row 3 is mentioned with a 2011 release. Wait a second! We're in 2011! Woo hoo!

Oh. And by the way THQ has a new logo also.

We sat down with the man himself to discuss upcoming games including this year's Saints Row 3 - as well as future prospects Devil's Third and Guillermo Del Toro's InSane. Although more tight-lipped than usual, it wasn't long before Bilson's natural sprightliness came to the fore...

Seriously. All interest I had just vanished. There are few enough co-op games out there and to have the feature pulled at the last moment is even more annoying.

JoyStiq: Cliff Bleszinski talks Bulletstorm's development, canned co-op

Another interesting tidbit: Bulletstorm originally had campaign cooperative play, but it was eventually removed. According to Bleszinski, co-op killed the game's pacing: it "just broke down, and it was a situation where people would race through the game, ignoring the vistas and they wouldn't set up as many skillshots," he said.

All I can say to Cliffy B is you should pick your co-op partners more carefully. I learned that the hard way.
