Caprica Review...
Well as most of you know it takes a lot to impress me in a movie or TV show and I always seem to find the worst thing about everything.
Well after the semi-atrocious final season to BSG I will admit that the final episode of BSG was fairly well done.
I, like every other BSG fan eagerly awaited the release of Caprica on DVD.
I will start by asking: you know the old saying: 'when movies go straight to video', and what it means?
Well I think this is the first time where that will same saying will apply to a TV show.
So, with the least amount of spoilers here is my review of Caprica. Read more
Did Q-Bert break the site again?
Couldn't log in from last night until now.
He must have been recompiling ...
Yesssssssss!!!!!!
Downloadable content for Saints Row 2 now available!
162 MBs for the cost of 800 MS points. A little steeper than Left 4 Dead's free Survival Pack but let's face it, it's Saints Row 2!
Remember that you can use your MSN ID to add Ultor Exposed directly to your Xbox Live queue from your browser. You can do that here.
It's going to be hard to spend all that time with a virtual Tera Patrick but somehow I'm sure we'll manage.
Information about the new content is available here.
Go fish — on your Xbox 360
Fake fishing not fake card playing
When I first saw this I thought "oh my god this is so sad." Which was almost immediately followed by "Rolly would love this."
Because, you know, he would.
Not sure if this would improve my Call of Duty play style but it its almost worth trying. Oooh, Rock Band!
More details are available at Unscripted 360.
Left 5 Dead
A photo realistic homage to Left 4 Dead
I am pretty sure that Francis would hate this but Night Zero has done a photo realistic take on Left 4 Dead. Night Zero is the name of a photo realistic comic hosted on the sight (they call it a photographic novel). It's about something Zombie related. Not too bad and it is in an interesting style. Every comic pane is a professional quality photograph, modified with speech bubbles added.
And now for something completely different...
ZOMBIES!!!
Seriously, if you haven't already grabbed the free downloadable content for Left 4 Dead, do so NOW!!! It's 100MB, so if you're on the same ISP as Graybush, it could take a while to download.
On the menu: new levels, new game mode, new ways to infuriate your teammates. Read more
Fickle Trunk
Unless you have had the misfortune of playing Call of Duty World at War Zombie Mode with us you probably don't realize that we call the weapon Mystery Box the "Tickle Trunk."
In fact, I didn't know that its official name was the Mystery Box until I tried to do a web search.
More zombie love!
From Valve this time
Left 4 Dead Survival Mode now available on Xbox Live Marketplace.
101 MBs at the cost of free! Yes, free!! None of this Call of Duty World at War $10 for a single zombie map. Valve Software does it right! Free! Free! Free!
Remember that you can use your MSN ID to add it to your Xbox Live queue direct from your browser. You can do that here.
Additional info shamelessly pilfered from left4dead411:
- The free Survival Pack adds the new Survival game mode, where players are given time to dig in before fending off unceasing zombie hordes in an attempt to survive as long as possible. Survival Mode is played on 12 new maps--11 being sections of existing levels and 1 created especially for Survival Mode, Lighthouse.
The Survival Pack also brings Versus mode to the final two co-op campaigns, Dead Air and Death Toll. This release coincides with the release of Left 4 Dead: Critics Choice Edition, which contains the original game plus the Survival Pack.
And you should download this before tomorrow night for no reason in particular.
Real-life Mirror's Edge
I love the music.
Some stories must be told
We call it (or at least we used to) SEGA Night for a reason. A couple of original HoC members would get together with their Genesis machines to game, because they had no lives. But the SEGA story goes back much further. Leave it to IGN to present us with the History of SEGA.
Enjoy, fanboys.
Here we go again....
As Revek can attest to. For the past 4-5 years I have been getting phone calls from Iraqi embassies from Toronto, Ottawa and NYC. I guess my number is somewhat close to who over they are trying to call. It got to a point where I was getting called a couple of times a day. Revek and few other co-workers started making jokes on how I am under investigation. Read more
Anyone own a shovel? The continuing saga...
Despite Q-Bert's best efforts at forcing us into a plan, progress was made
Kudos to Moricerevek for his much more appreciated "what can I do next?" methodology. This and not taking a one hour support call in the middle of the dig made his efforts much more noticeable. (Ed's Note: "kill Q-Bert" is not an accepted option in the "what can I do next?" queue. Not that I checked, of course.)
Honourable mention to Coxxorz for loaning us his shovel, "it's the least I can do." You're right, it was.

It's that time again....
Maybe this trick should be tested on someone here....but the likeliest candidate would be me I think.
I have found my Lancer
As some of you may recall, I gave a certain someone a lot of abuse over their $150 purchase of a certain replica of a fictional weapon from a certain videogame. Well it seems the tables have finally turned, as I find myself seriously considering purchasing this latest gorgeous atrocity from Amazon for a startlingly similar price.
Noooooooooooo!
- Instead of the 16th, SR2’s DLC Pack #1 will be released on April 23rd. It’s not all bad news though.
