As a some of you know I am training for the crossfit games.

My repaired (theoretically, as I haven't tested it yet) Xbox 360 core is back from Microsoft.

That wasn't too bad, clocking in at eleven days. I guess when you pay for repair it is processed slightly faster than warranty work.

Marc Whitten Letter on the New Xbox Experience

Found this at Gamer Score Blog. Marc Whitten updates the major upcoming changes to the Xbox Dashboard. The one that most interests me is, of course, the last entry. Display support for 1680x1050. The native resolution of my 22" Samsung. Although the other stuff is kind of cool too. Here are the major items:

• Play from hard drive. Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game.
• Access Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the Web. Browse and purchase Marketplace content whenever you want from Xbox.com and it downloads automatically to your console. Purchase that new map, television episode, the latest Xbox LIVE Arcade game or set up a movie to watch when you get home from work.

Seeing as how no one is playing any of our regular shooters anymore.

And I am never around when you guys play COD4. Since I am still at level 12 or something like that, I always seem to be the red shirt when I join games with crackly voiced prepubescent teens that seem to always be around talking tough because they are somewhere else in the world.
