HoC Random Good Black Ops 3 Score of the Day - 11252015
After weeks of complaints a miracle of a good game finally happened
SeanMCR, Graybush and I do not play Black Ops 3 quietly. There is a litany of complaints against the Call of Duty series developers, the publishers, the internet, LAG, and corner campers. Top complaints:
- how do I put a clip into his back and then he can turn around and kill me with one bullet?
- This isn't the first online game they have made, how can the networking code still suck?
- That kill cam isn't even close to what happened!
- I'm getting hit markers yet I am not killing him!
HoC Random Call of Duty Glitch of the Day - 11242015
This past weekend during the co-op campaign we discovered that Graybush is a stinking cheater
As one point during the campaign we checked our scores to discover that Graybush had a small 110,000 lead on the rest of us. Please note that the score resets each level and we were barely half way through this level. I don't think any of us passed 20,000 in a single level.
Also we all know that 95 Revives is impossible as Graybush's tendency is to run away from incapacitated players. This despite his designation as the team medic.
Back to normal
Now that the lan party has happened and everyone has finally played the (lame) campaign mode, we can get back to our regularly scheduled game mode...ZOMBIES!
Graybush, Stormblade and myself took The Giant. What's become my favourite version of Der Riese.
A couple warm up matches, then a short break for food n such and we started in earnest.
New HoC record for this version of the map! 31

Best Black Ops 3 LAN poster Ever!
I think our Head Designer has peaked...
Complete with sarcasm, humour, and Graybush abuse. Abuse that Graybush brought upon himself.
There is a long running belief by designers (and other production persons) that clients always provide few ideas for any project as well as waiting to the last possible minute to provide any details. This week leading up to the HoC/Graybush Black Ops 3 co-op day Coxxorz lived this. Summarized in the included text available after the break. Note that this text exchange occurred the Thursday afternoon before the Saturday Co-op Day.
This is who we are!
This is the game that should be MADE for HoC
Star Trek Battlefront! Make this and I am in!
Okay, so this may seem like a rebuttal to Stormblade's article, Who are you people?, but it really isn't. It's not. Really. It's just supposed to be funny and it is.
My first thought when Stormblade asked why he was the only one playing Star Wars Battlefront was of this Artemis comic from two years ago. Stormblade in an X-Wing pilot's uniform standing in the middle of the Enterprise bridge. It brought to mind Stormblade in the Star Wars Universe while the rest of us were in the Star Trek Universe.
Then came my second thought...
Rainbow Six | Siege
Since you guys are all on about Rainbow Six...
Rumour: ARK: Survival Evolved for Xbox One is imminent
Quetzalcoatlus! With a ballista attached!
The more I read about ARK: Survival Evolved the more interested I get.
- ...it seems that its debut on Xbox One could come a fair bit sooner than that. In a Steam update [...] developer Studio Wildcard explained that it was preparing for the "imminent release" of the game on Xbox One.
Of course, once Rolly discovers you can raise dinosaurs I will never have access to my Xbox One again. Never.
Back to Vegas: Sega Nite with Rainbow Six Vegas
A violent, repetitive reminder that 'B' is not crouch
So I hesitate to call our return to Rainbow Six Vegas a success. It was definitely a reminder of friendly fire, 'B' is not crouch, and no respawns. We failed in our mission a lot. Every time in fact.
The only successful aspect of our night in Vegas was the proof that Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility works. For the most part.
Who are you people?
I've been playing Star Wars Battlefront, on my own, for the past few days. I have been running around Hoth, Tatooine and Endor, fighting off Stormtroopers, AT-STs and drones. I have flown X-Wings, snowspeeders and speeder bikes. I have wrapped tow cables around AT-ATs and bring them down. I have fought Darth Vader (and lost, obviously).
And where the HECK are ALL OF YOU?!? This is Battlefield meets Star Wars. This game was MADE for HoC.
Who are you people?!?
They got some Xbox 360 Compatibility in our Sega Nite
Well not yet but we totally should
During one of our usual coffee walk discussions about Sega Nite we realized that we had yet to test Xbox 360 Compatibility on our Xbox Ones. Well we should totally do that.
One of the compatible game is Rainbow Six Vegas which was a clan favourite. So dig it out of storage and stick it... in your Xbox One. I would suggest doing it soon as the Game and two Player's Packs (Red and Black) weigh in at 8.8GB.
You can also copy Xbox 360 Equipment and Face templates from your 360 to the Cloud and, in theory, the Xbox One should pick it up automatically. Yet untested as I am still installing the game and packs.
This week's Sega Nite (tonight) brought to you by Last Gen's console now on This Gen.
Zombies. The Giant. Round 24
Where Blackwalt discovered that he can play with Graybush or with DethCon5 but not BOTH!
So "The Giant" is a remake of Der Riese and we, almost all of us, have played Der Riese a lot. World at War, Black Ops, and now Black Ops 3. My position has always been the same. I play up front on the Catwalk of Hope and Love, usually on the right.
And this worked for me. Until...
Oh boy, oh boy, OH BOY!!!!
My wife thought she was a video game widow when AC Syndicate came out. That only took a week of my time.
Tomorrow she'll find out what being a video game widow really is. Or, as Yoda would say, 'A video game widow she now is'.
